Highland Honey LLC was founded with a profound sense of purpose and a deep-rooted connection to family heritage. After the passing of Margaret Burness Bruce Tough (originally of Montrose, Scotland then later in life the highlands of Effort, PA) her legacy was immortalized through the creation of Highland Honey LLC. Margaret's unwavering love for her family, particularly her grandson Nate, became the guiding force behind our endeavor.
Before embarking on her heavenly journey, Margaret entrusted a special request: that her grandson Nate, who was 4 years old at the time, always be reminded of her enduring love. In honor of this heartfelt wish, Highland Honey LLC was established as a tribute to her memory and the cherished values she instilled in her family.
Through the creation of Highland Honey LLC, Margaret's legacy lives on, vibrant and everlasting. We carry forward her spirit of love, integrity, and dedication to both family and community.
As we tend to our hives and enjoy all that nature has to offer, we are reminded of Margaret's connection to the land and the deep sense of reverence she held for nature's gifts, as well as her love of tea and honey. Our commitment to sustainable beekeeping practices reflects her ethos of stewardship and respect for the environment.
At Highland Honey LLC, we are more than just beekeepers; we are custodians of a legacy. Every jar of honey we produce is a testament to Margaret's enduring love. Whether it was her family, friends, or community, she was always there, giving her all to make things better for everyone. Margaret truly left a profound impact on those around her through her kindness and selflessness. For this and so much more, we honor her in all we do.
Thank you for supporting Highland Honey LLC, where tradition, love, and heritage converge to create something truly special.
At Highland Honey, you're not just a customer; you're a vital partner in our mission to conserve bees. In addition, every bottle or jar of our honey sold contributes to local scholarships and nonprofit organizations in need. Inspired by the wisdom of both our precious pollinators and Margaret, we're dedicated to serving the greater good for the betterment of all.
Welcome to our hive!
